Mandatory PF now applies on wages up to ₹25,000 a month, up from ₹15,000. Maximum mandatory contribution per side rises from ₹1,800 to ₹3,000.

Quick answers
How often do minimum wages for security guards change?
Central sphere VDA is revised twice a year, on 1 April and 1 October, based on CPI-IW. States notify and revise their own rates separately, often twice a year too.
Do central sphere rates apply to my agency?
They apply when the guards are deployed at a central government establishment, such as a bank, central PSU, railway, airport or port. For other clients, your state’s notified minimum wage applies.
What is the current EPF wage ceiling?
₹25,000 a month, from 17 Sep 2026 (S.O. 5109(E)). It was ₹15,000 before.
How long is a PSARA licence valid?
Five years. Apply for renewal at least 45 days before it expires.
