Security guard attendance app with selfie and geo-stamp
Guards check in on an Android phone with a selfie stamped with their location. You get an alert if someone leaves the site, and the PP register builds itself for payroll, billing and client audits.
- No device to install at the site
- Rated 4.1 on Google Play
- 40,000+ installs
Example data. Each check-in carries the guard’s selfie and location.
Why guard attendance is hard to trust
An agency with guards spread over dozens or hundreds of posts usually finds out about a missing guard from the client.
Paper registers get back-filled
The register says present. Nobody can prove the guard was actually at the post at 2 a.m.
Supervisor calls don’t scale
Calling every post every shift eats the supervisor’s day, and a phone answered is not a guard on site.
Guards leave posts
A guard who checks in and then walks off is invisible until something goes wrong and the client calls.
Three steps, on the guard’s phone
Selfie check-in at the post
The guard opens the app at the assigned site and takes a selfie. The check-in is stamped with the guard’s location, so you see who checked in and where.
Alert if the guard leaves
If a guard moves away from the assigned site during duty, the supervisor is notified, so you can act before the client notices.
PP register builds itself
Verified check-ins fill the present/absent register for each site automatically. Guard-wise records are ready for payroll, client billing and audits.
Selfie and geo attendance vs the usual options

Training in the same app
The guard who checks in is the guard you train. Short lessons arrive on the same phone, in the guard’s own language.
5 Indian languages
Lessons in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, done between rounds without leaving the post.
Quizzes and e-certificates
Daily refreshers, a quiz after each lesson, topic-wise tests and e-certificates show who actually understood.
Your own videos
Upload your site instructions or client SOP videos and schedule them by role.
Used by agencies across India
Security agencies
Show clients verified attendance and trained guards at every review, and stop chasing supervisors for registers.
Facility management
The same check-in and register work for housekeeping, technicians and any staff deployed across sites.
Operations heads
Know which posts are covered right now without calling every site.
Guard attendance app questions
How does the app verify that a guard is at the post?
The guard checks in with a selfie that is stamped with the phone’s location. The selfie shows who checked in, and the location shows where. If the guard later moves away from the assigned site, the supervisor is notified.
Do we need to install a device at each site?
No. Guards check in on an Android phone, so there is no biometric machine to buy, install or maintain at each post.
Does it generate the PP register?
Yes. The present/absent register for each site is built automatically from verified check-ins, so there is no register to fill in by hand. To try a manual one first, use the free PP register maker.
Does it work on iPhone?
Not yet. Suraksha Gyan is on Android, which covers the phones most guards use.
Can we use it for housekeeping and other staff?
Yes. Attendance and training work the same way for housekeeping, facility management and any frontline staff deployed across sites.
How much does it cost?
The app is free to download. Agencies pay based on headcount and the modules they use, and we share a quote after a short demo.
